Oil

Okay, let's talk oil for a few minutes (all the time I can spare, tonight).

mccain and hellary want to give us peons a "tax holiday" - roughly 18 cents per gallon (gee, thanks) - from Memorial Day to Labor Day. And, of course, the anti-corporate socialist is demanding that "Evil Big Oil" PAY for it with more punitive taxes.

The empty suit obama - always the predictable liberalite - doesn't want Big Gubmint to go on that sort of crash diet...even for a few months.

FACT: "Evil" big oil makes EIGHT CENTS per gallon, and THEY are the ones doing the importing, refining, transporting and selling of said fuel. Big Gubmint does NOTHING - except enforce draconian eco-terrorist regulations banning drilling for OUR OWN OIL, posting requirements that make it economically impractical to build new refineries, and enforcing ludicrous "custom blend" laws for various regions or states, but makes TEN CENTS MORE from that same gallon gas.

Who's "evil"?

(HINT TO LIBERALITES: Since WHEN has taxing anything MORE made its price go DOWN?!?!?)

FACT: EVERY DAMNED THING IN YOUR GROCERY STORE IS EITHER MADE OUT OF OR PRODUCED WITH THE HELP OF OIL, AND IS DELIVERED TO THE STORE BY VEHICLES WHICH ARE LUBRICATED BY, POWERED BY, AND DRIVE UPON ROADS BUILT WITH PETROLEUM PRODUCTS!

Care to guess WHY the cost of everything - partiticularly FOOD - is going up?

...and while I'm at it, how about "ethanol"?

FACT: In simplest terms - which escape even the "intellectual elitists" of the left - it takes more fuel, lubricants, and total energy expended to PRODUCE AND TRANSPORT one gallon of ethanol than it does for one gallon of gasoline...and don't forget that you get more energy FROM burning a gallon of gasoline than you get from burning a gallon of ethanol.

End result? More acreage wasted on an inefficient fuel pipe-dream, and less acreage producing FOOD!

(side note: just who the hell was the brain-bank responsible for the spectacularly dumbass idea of putting FOOD in our GAS TANKS?)

Econ 101 - Supply & Demand: More Supply, less Demand, lower Price. More Demand, Less Supply, higher Price.

Simple, right?

EXCEPT when there are ARTIFICIAL FACTORS!

Like taxes, overregulation, skittish speculators, insane restrictions on increasing the supply, and bottlenecks (like not enough refineries) because of lunatic eco-nuts and their jackass liberalite enablers.

ALL of those dumbshit add-ons ADD ON to the price WE pay for gasoline, food, and every other damned thing that travels by highway or rail - semi trucks AND railroad locomotives run on diesel, don'cha know....

So who's to blame for the high prices?

WE ARE!!!

...WE are the ones who keep sending their sorry asses BACK to D.C., remember?

SO KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF!

Try electing some REAL conservatives for a change, huh?

It would seem TS, that nobody really wants the real Conservatives to run the country. Most folks prefer the idiot who'll tell them he'll do something and needs to tax them a bit more but won't do anything over the guy who'll tell em he can't do much but won't steal what little they have through taxes. That's what's happened to us, go figure.
